Each block measures 30 × 30 × 12 cm and weighs 5 kilograms. When hydrated, a single block expands to between 15 and 25 liters of growing media depending on the variant — fine peat expands to 15–18 liters, duo mix to 18–22 liters, and pure chips to 20–25 liters.
What is the difference between Fine Peat, Duo 30, and Pure Chips variants?
Classic Fine Peat is 100% finely screened coco peat — ideal for seed starting, propagation trays, and potting mixes where maximum water retention is needed. Duo 30 is a balanced blend of 70% fine peat and 30% coco chips, providing both moisture retention and improved drainage — well suited for container gardening and ornamental plants. Pure Chips Block is made entirely from coco chips and offers maximum aeration and drainage, making it the preferred choice for orchid cultivation, hydroponic systems, and crops that need fast-draining substrates.
What EC level can you provide?
Our standard blocks are available with an EC of less than 0.5 mS/cm, which is considered low EC and suitable for most horticultural applications including export markets. For customers who need even lower EC levels for sensitive crops, we offer washed and buffered options on request. Each batch is tested for EC consistency before shipping.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum order is 1 × 20ft container. We handle all export documentation, palletization, and coordinate container loading directly from our facility in Pollachi. For first-time buyers, we can arrange sample blocks before committing to a full container order.
